IMPACT dance company is the resident company of the Virginia Ballet Company and School's Contemporary department. IMPACT dance is a pre-professional performing company that offers contemporary, improv techniques, jazz, modern, and conditioning classes for beginners through advanced levels. Auditions are held each summer and dancers are given a flexible schedule that values quality over quantity. IMPACT dancers have the opportunity to participate in professional evening length concerts each season. IMPACT dancers pride themselves on versatility, solid work ethic and technical foundations, and cultivation of artistry.
